1. THE PROMOTER
1.1. The Promoter is GRIDSERVE Car Leasing Ltd of Thorney Weir House, Thorney Mill Lane, Iver, England SL0 9AQ (“GRIDSERVE”)

2. THE CAMPAIGN
2.1. Members of the public who take a test drive at a GRIDSERVE Electric Forecourt on Saturday 9 September 2023 will be entered into a draw to win the exclusive use of a Cupra Born or similar electric vehicle (see clause 6.9 for further details) (Prize Vehicle) during the Prize Period (as defined below).
2.2. The Campaign will be hosted from the below GRIDSERVE Electric Forecourts®:
2.2.1. Braintree Electric Forecourt®,
2.2.2. Norwich Electric Forecourt®.
2.3. Test drives of any electric vehicles will be subject to the standard terms and conditions, as well as licence and identity checks (https://www.gridserve.com/electric-leasing/terms-and-conditions/test-drive-terms-and-conditions).

3. THE COMPETITION
3.1. The title of the Competition is called the “Extend Your World EV Day” (Competition).
3.2. Any person who takes a test drive from the GRIDSERVE Electric Forecourts® mentioned in clause 2.2 above between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 on Saturday 9 September will be entered into a prize draw for the Competition.
3.3. The prize will be the exclusive use of a Prize Vehicle for a 7 day period, subject to availability (Prize). Further details about the conditions of such exclusive use are set out below.

4. HOW TO ENTER
4.1. In order to be eligible for the Competition, participants must take a test drive at either Braintree Electric Forecourt® or Norwich Electric Forecourt® between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 on Saturday 9 September 2023 (Entry Period).
4.2. Once a participant has completed a test drive, he or she will be automatically entered into the Competition unless he or she opts out.
4.3. By taking a test drive, participants are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as any other terms and conditions that have been included or referred to within these terms.

5. ELIGIBILITY
5.1. Subject to clause 5.2, the Competition is only open to UK residents aged 25 years or over who hold a valid UK driver’s licence. These eligibility requirements will be checked prior to booking of a test drive.
5.2. The Competition is not open to:
5.2.1. employees of GRIDSERVE or its holding or subsidiary companies;
5.2.2. employees of agents or suppliers of GRIDSERVE or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
5.2.3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

6. THE PRIZE
6.1. As stated in clause 3.3, the Prize for the Competition will be the exclusive use of a Prize Vehicle for a period of 7 consecutive days (Prize Period).
6.2. The Winner (as defined below) can agree the exact dates of the Prize Period with the Promoter provided that the Prize Period ends on or before 14:00 on 29 December 2023.
6.3. There are two Prize Vehicles available, one for each Electric Forecourt® stated in clause 2.2 of these terms and conditions.
6.4. A Winner will collect the Prize Vehicle from the Electric Forecourt® where they completed their test drive during the Campaign and will need to return the Prize Vehicle at the end of the Prize Period to the same Electric Forecourt® by 14:00 on the last day of the Prize Period.
6.5. The Winners will also each be given an RFID card which they can use to charge the Prize Vehicle at GRIDSERVE charge points across the UK at no cost during the Prize Period. The RFID cards must be returned along with the Prize Vehicle at the end of the Prize Period. The RFID cards cannot be used to charge any vehicle other than the Prize Vehicle.
6.6. GRIDSERVE will insure the Winners during the Prize Period. No other persons shall be permitted to drive the Prize Vehicle during the Prize Period.
6.7. There will be no maximum mileage during the Prize Period.
6.8. The Prize Vehicle must only be used within the UK.
6.9. There are no cash alternatives available and, where a Cupra Born is not available during the Prize Period selected, GRIDSERVE reserves the right to replace the Prize Vehicle with an alternative electric vehicle of similar size, range and price.

7. THE WINNERS
7.1. The two Winners (one for each Electric Forecourt®) will be chosen by random draws performed by a computer processes within 14 days of the end of the Entry Period (the Winners). One draw will be run for participants completing their test drive at Norwich Electric Forecourt®, and a second will be run for participants completing their test drive at Braintree Electric Forecourt®.
7.2. The Winners will be contacted directly by telephone and/or email using the contact details provided to GRIDSERVE during the test drive sign up process.
7.3. GRIDSERVE may request that the Prize winners participate in marketing and promotional materials for the Prize and the Competition. Should the winners object to any of their personal data being used in such a way please contact GRIDSERVE at 020 3995 0960.

8. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
8.1. The Winners of the Prize will have 14 days from the date of notification that they have won the Prize by GRIDSERVE to claim the Prize.
8.2. GRIDSERVE will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winners. Should a Winner not claim the Prize within the 14 day time period, GRIDSERVE reserves the right to forfeit the Prize and select a new Winner in accordance with the process described in clause 7.1.
8.3. After claiming the Prize and prior to taking possession of the Prize Vehicle the Winners must:
8.3.1. agree the dates for the Prize Period with GRIDSERVE; and
8.3.2. sign terms and conditions governing the use of the Prize Vehicle during the Prize Period (such terms to be substantially similar to those referred to at clause 2.3).
8.4. GRIDSERVE does not accept any responsibility if a selected Winner is not able to take up the Prize.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, GRIDSERVE will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of accepting the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of GRIDSERVE, its agents, its distributors or that of their employees. Any statutory rights that you may have will not be affected.
9.2. GRIDSERVE will not be responsible for any fines, parking tickets or other similar costs incurred on the Prize Vehicle by the Winner.
9.3. GRIDSERVE accepts no responsibility for the Winner’s personal vehicle if left at an Electric Forecourt® during the Prize Period.

10. ACCIDENTS, THEFT OR DAMAGE
10.1. Subject to clause 10.2, the Winner must immediately inform GRIDSERVE of any accident, theft or damage to the Prize Vehicle by calling the Duty Manager (for contact details see clause 13).
10.2. If an accident, theft or damage takes place outside of Operational Hours (as defined below), the Winner must call the Duty Manager immediately on the following day.
10.3. In all cases, an accident enclose form will need to be completed and returned to the Duty Manager within 24 hours of such accident occurring. Such form will be provided to the Winner upon collection of the Prize Vehicle.

11. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
11.1. GRIDSERVE will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy notice at www.gridserve.com/legal-area/#gridserve-privacy-notice.

12. GENERAL
12.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, GRIDSERVE may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude a person from participating in the competition.
12.2. GRIDSERVE reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the Prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
12.3. GRIDSERVE does not accept any responsibility or liability if a winner is not able to use the Prize for any reason.
12.4. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any participants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of England and Wales.

13. CONTACT DETAILS
13.1. During the Prize Period, the Winner can contact the relevant Electric Forecourt® Duty Manager between 07:00-21:00 (Operational Hours) for any non-urgent queries. The number of the Duty Manager will be provided upon collection of keys for the Prize Vehicle.
